I have been thinking about the SINPO code after seeing a station reported as 32331 recently.
If you look at the table below you will see that an overall figure of 1 in the "overall" column does not equate with the other figures. The correct number would be 2 or 3 depending on the reception.

44444 as a report is clearly a good report. 35433 or 45444 is a good average for many shortwave pirates received at my location.
Strong pirates and many broadcast stations sometimes go over 9 + 40 db and clearly qualify for 5 in the "S" column.
I have rarely heard a shortwave station without any propagation disturbance so 4 to my mind is great.
