The cottage in the Yorkshire Dales is in a very remote area. No houses for some distance! No noise on the 48 metre band! It was interesting to hear Dutch stations in the daytime so clearly. Again that is unusual at home. Probably due to the increased distance to where I am now couple with far less electrical background noise.

Logged a few stations on the Tecsun Pl-600 and also the Tatung (Sangean ATS-803a) using around 10m of wire to act as a long wire antenna. It was unusual to hear Hitmix so clearly. My antenna at home does not work well in that direction. Also, without internet, I can’t use any of the song recognition apps!
